1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by CF3 MOT & Service Centre LTD, located at:

Unit 3c Wentloog Buildings
Wentloog Road, Rumney
Cardiff, CF3 1TH

By booking or receiving any service from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Services

We provide:

  • Vehicle servicing and repairs
  • MOT testing (where applicable)
  • Welding and breakdown recovery services
  • Diagnostic checks and inspections

All services are subject to availability and may vary based on staffing, parts, and external factors.


3. Bookings

  • Appointments can be made by phone or in person.
  • Evening appointments are available after 5:00pm on a pre-booked basis only.
  • We may require your vehicle registration, contact details, and a description of the issue.
  • While we aim to keep to scheduled times, delays may occur. Customers will be informed of any changes.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT (where applicable).
  • Quotes provided before work begins are estimates only. If additional work is required, we will contact you before proceeding.
  • Full payment is due upon collection of the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept cash, card, or other approved payment methods.
  • Vehicles will not be released until payment is received in full.

5. Parts & Warranties

  • Parts supplied and fitted by us are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (usually 12 months unless otherwise stated).
  • Labour is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
  • If parts are supplied by the customer, no warranty is provided on those parts, and we accept no responsibility for their performance.

6. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Failure to attend a booked appointment without notice may result in a cancellation fee.

7. Vehicle Safety & Condition

  • Customers must ensure their vehicle is in a safe condition before driving it to our premises.
  • If we identify a dangerous defect, we may refuse to release the vehicle until the necessary repairs are carried out, in line with road safety regulations.

8. Storage & Collection

  • Vehicles should be collected promptly once repairs are completed.
  • We may charge a daily storage fee for vehicles not collected within 48 hours of completion (unless agreed in advance).

9. Liability

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.
  • While every care is taken, we are not liable for minor scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damage unless caused by negligence.
  • We will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., supplier delays, traffic, breakdowns).

10. Breakdown Recovery

  • Recovery services are provided within Cardiff and surrounding areas, subject to availability.
  • Charges depend on distance, vehicle type, and situation, and must be paid at the time of service.

11. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your vehicle.
  • Ensure you have valid insurance and road tax for your vehicle.
  • Inform us of any known issues that may affect service or repair work.

12. Data Protection

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains how customer data is collected, stored, and used.


13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us at 07455 994528. We will investigate and respond promptly. If unresolved, you may escalate the complaint to the Motor Ombudsman or the relevant consumer protection authority.


14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
